Our factory
Our factory “Teen Age Modern Fashion Ltd.” is located in Hemayetpur, Savar, Dhaka – 1340, Bangladesh. The whole building was constructed according to ACCORD standards, and opened in July 2014. Our building is rated “GREEN” by Accord.
Technical rooms on the ground floor are equipped with the most advanced machinery needed for production, such as electrical cabinets, water supply and steam pumps. There is also a warehouse with loading and unloading bay.
The fully air-conditioned office floor includes management and merchandisers’ officers including a social section. The office staff have direct contact with production personnel on the next floors at any moment.
On the main production floor area there are ‘sampling unit’, ‘cutting section’, ‘sixteen sewing lines’, along with ‘finishing and packaging area’. The total office area is 11 000 sq. ft., and the separate production floor area is 61 000 sq. ft.
Design for people
We hire buses daily basis to provide our workers with free transportation. In our factory, we provide medical checkups and medicine free for all workers, with access to a full-time doctor and a gynecologist.
We provide a day care center for our workers’ kids and a place for rest and meals during breaks. We commit resources to educating all employees on the importance of good health and dietary practices with particular emphasis on drinking water quality, which we offer in our building, to prevent water-borne diseases.
